The girls coaxed her to calm down and showed her so much love and attention she was able to calm down enough to get through our appointment. I have been to this Veterinary Hospital a few times now. I have seen two Doctors, both of whom I feel are among the best I have ever visited in my 30+ years of pet ownership. My animals are very comfortable with all of the staff. I have brought both my cats and dog. The Techs were very gentle them all. The entire place is very well kept, inside and out. The prices are very fair for all I have been there for. I, and my pets, will surely recommend them to anyone who asks us.

All of the vet techs and front desk staff took turns laying on the floor with my dog while she was getting IV fluids - literally no other clinic would find time to do this. I know I never have to worry about my dogs when they are at this clinic because everyone there genuinely cares for all of the animal clients. This is my favorite clinic I have ever brought my pets too, and it is because of all of the wonderful and kind staff. There is not a single individual that works at this clinic that has ever been anything less than kind and amazing. The vets are patient and help you find a treatment plan that works for you and your pet as individuals. I have never felt pressured into a particular treatment. They take the time to explain the pros and cons of options, answer all of your questions, and are very honest and nonjudgmental. If I could give 10/5 stars I would!

We just moved to the state and didn't have a vet for our baby. While we love the drastically different climate Louisiana offers, our baby's paws told another story as they became red, irritated, and extremely itchy. We tried many different home remedies with no relief, rather he seemed to be getting worse. We decided we'd done all we could do and needed to take him to a vet. I called and there were no available appointments until the next morning. I informed the receptionist that we were headed out of state before the office opened the next morning. They told us to come that evening even though we'd likely be there within minutes of them seeing their last scheduled appointment. They got us in and didn't make us feel rushed or that we were an inconvenience. All of the staff were extremely nice, patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We loved our experience and feel lucky to have found our new vet with so much ease especially when we inconveniently came in for services at closing time. Great staff and great service! It was Rhaenyra’s first time coming here and the staff were all so reassuring and calming to her. They were all incredibly sweet and made her feel comfy while we had to poke and prod at her. For still being such a young puppy she did so well under their care. They were also very understanding and easily answered all my questions about future plans for care and their recommendations. We’ve already booked her next appointment.

Dr Toney as well as the other veterinarians there truly care for my dog and treat him like a member of their own family. The techs are equally concerned, courteous and very knowledgeable about pet care and health. I wouldn’t even CONSIDER taking my dog anywhere else. I’ve referred several of my friends with pets to Hammond Veterinary Services and they are all equally happy with the care their pets receive there. My sweet little man is getting older now and has had to have a couple of surgeries at HVS but even with something so serious, they are able to put my mind at ease and care for him in a way that only the most loving and compassion vet ever could plus they are always up to date on the latest treatments. I also appreciate the fact that they have specialists visit the clinic so I haven't ever had to travel to New Orleans for specialty care. I feel blessed to have this group of bright and caring vets right here in Hammond.
